There is no such thing as a perfect match in life… But some of the Montana Colors spray paint products were truly born for each other!

They are products with perfectly complementary characteristics that, when used together, optimize their results to the maximum. 

From graffiti paints to tools for decoration or DIY, here is our list of the perfect pairs of spray paint. 

MTN 94 Fluor + MTN 94 Equivalent

The low opacity of fluorescent spray paint colors and some very bright shades of MTN 94 can be corrected by using a base layer of an equivalent color. If you want to paint a graffiti piece with a Fluorescent orange 94 fill, you need to apply a Orange RV 2004 base. A single coat of fluorescent paint will then provide a perfect, efficient, and much faster result than a White base layer. 

Hardcore Silver + Nitro 2G 400ml / Mega Silver + Nitro 2G 500ml

Historically, silver paint has always been a problem to cover with another color, as the metallic pigments tend to seep through the covering layer. This problem has been minimized with the Hardcore and MTN 94 formulas, but Nitro 2G has the exact composition to totally avoid this phenomenon and achieve perfect results. 

Hardcore / MTN 94 / Water Based + Spectral

Spectral colors are designed with low opacity and are perfect to produce gradients or subtle color changes. To get the most out of them, apply them on a base coat of Hardcore, MTN 94 or Water Based. 

MTN PRO Glass to Mirror Converter + MTN PRO Color Paint

When you use the MTN PRO Glass to Mirror Converter spray, always apply four or five coats until you’ve got the desired effect. Once the last layer dries, you must protect the paint from scratches and prevent the transparency of the paint. A coat of MTN PRO Color Paint black is perfect for the job. 

MTN PRO Color Paint + MTN PRO Acrylic Varnish / MTN PRO 2K Varnish

Applying the MTN PRO Acrylic Varnish spray to a coat of paint improves its resistance and the durability of the color. Unlock faster drying time by using the acrylic version of both products, to avoid the drying times of 15-120 minutes when using Hardcore or MTN 94 paints. 

MTN PRO Matt White Base Primer + Fluor + MTN PRO Acrylic Varnish

Due to the limited opacity of fluorescent paints, a few layers of MTN PRO White Base Primer will provide the fluorescent paint with a neutral base coat so that the coverage is more efficient, as well as sealing the surface. Fluorescent paint deteriorates quickly in sunlight, so we recommend applying a layer of MTN PRO Acrylic varnish to improve its resistance. 

MTN PRO Metallic Paint + MTN PRO 2K Varnish

Combining the MTN PRO 2k Varnish with MTN PRO Metallic Paint gives you three advantages:

• Protect the paint from bad weather and scratches.


• Protect the paint from chemical agents like gasoline.


• Enhance the glossy finish.

MTN PRO Bathtub & Tile Paint + MTN PRO Color Paint / Hardcore / MTN 94

MTN PRO Bathtub & Tile Paint can also be used as a primer if we want to change the color of these bathroom elements. That is why once applied and after 2 hours, we can repaint the color with the finish we want. 

MTN PRO Matt White Base Primer + MTN PRO Luminous Paint + MTN PRO Acrylic Varnish

Like Fluorescent paint, MTN PRO Luminous Paint has a limited covering capacity, so you should apply a white base layer beforehand. Just like when you use fluorescent paint, a layer of MTN PRO Acrylic Varnish will improves its resistance, especially outdoors. 

MTN PRO Color Paint / Hardcore / MTN 94 + MTN PRO Marble Effect + MTN PRO 2k Varnish

The MTN PRO Marble Effect is a product that sprays threads of color that mimic the veins associated with marble. The color of this spray indicates the tone of the veins the surface should be primed with the base color you want to achieve. For example, if you want to reproduce a white marble texture, first apply a layer of white Hardcore or MTN 94 and then spray the veins with the black marble effect paint. If you finish the job with the MTN 2k Varnish, you’ll be able to unify the finish thanks to its excellent leveling properties, leaving you with a realistic uniform finish. 

MTN PRO Granite Effect + Hardcore

The MTN Pro Granite Effect bases its operation on the firing of separate particles. Therefore, we will obtain a better result if we previously apply a background color. Since we are trying to give it a mineral look, the grey background will be the most likely option.
