MTN PRO METALLIZED PAINTS: COLOR EFFECTS

MTN PRO metallic spray paints are a range that provide a metallized effect and come in all the colors of the rainbow: red, pink, yellow, green, blue, dark blue, violet, black, gold and aluminum. This metallized spray paint is often used in the automotive world.

Cons: It takes several coats to achieve the desired effect. 

Pros: Metallized spray paints come in the widest range of colors (metallic green spray paint, metallic purple spray paint, metallic silver spray paint, etc). It produces no leafing effect, as its metallic particles don’t rise to the surface, and applying varnish will significantly increase its durability.

The finish of this chrome paint spray is brilliant and reflective: the closest thing to chrome plating. Available in gold, silver and copper colors.

Cons: Chrome color spray paint may rub off on contact and is not particularly durable. It does not hold varnish well because of its leafing effect. The solvent in the varnish will cause its metallic particles to rise to the surface, marring the finish. 

Pros: This chrome spray paint is truly effective, providing surfaces with a surprisingly intense and shiny finish.

MTN HARDCORE 

Graffiti writers have always used this kind of paint for their silver pieces. With this in mind, we have designed our MTN Hardcore paints, which include gold and copper colors for those who want to experiment. This is the most commonly used format for filling graffiti art and is also available in larger aerosols (silver only): MTN Mega Plata (600 ml), MTN MAXIMO (750 ml) and MTN MADMAXXX (750 ml, high range and fan spray).

Cons: As metallic Hardcore spray paints produce a leafing effect, their properties may be altered by varnish. 

Pros: The high opacity of Hardcore paint means that one coat will cover most surfaces, making it easier than ever to achieve the finish you’re after. It dries quickly and is priced with the needs of graffiti artists in mind, making it the most affordable kind of metallic paint.

MTN 94

Like our Hardcore paints, MTN 94 is also available in metallic silver, gold and copper colors. This is the best option for graffiti art or murals that require precision when adding a metallic effect. Especially useful for outlining graffiti art or aerosol writing.

Cons: MTN 94 spray paint is a little more expensive than Hardcore. 

Pros: No leafing effect, covers surfaces immediately and dries quickly. In addition, MTN 94 spray paint has a tighter spray radius than Hardcore metallic paint, which lets you add details with greater precision for cleaner results.

MTN WATER BASED 300

MTN's water-based spray paint also comes in metallic silver, gold and copper colors. There are numerous advantages to these kinds of water-based spray paints, such as their less powerful smell and low environmental impact. This is the best option for studio and indoor work or when seeking the least possible environmental impact.
 

Cons: As metallic water-based acrylic paint is less opaque than Hardcore or MTN 94, several thin coats are required for a perfect finish. 

Pros: Acrylic Water-based paint has a mild smell and the least environmental impact of all spray paints.
