The MTN PRO Paint for Bathubs anb Tiles is a satin white paint spray, especially formulated to repaint bathtubs, sinks and tiles in a simple and effective way. This paint has excellent adhesion to ceramic and porcelain, as well as high resistance to humid environments. 

This spray paint is exclusively available in white and, although its finish is satin, varnish can be applied afterwards to modify its level of gloss, giving it a glossy or completely matt appearance. It can be painted over to change the final color of the object.

HOW DO YOU PAINT A BATHTUB WITH SPRAY PAINT?

First of all, you have to prepare the surface. A scrubbing sponge and cleaning solution will help you to open the pores in the material to help the product to stick. Next, wash the surface so that there is no residue left. If the bathtub has notable cracks that affect the uniformity of the surface, fill them with a polyester putty that you can sand with P400 or P600 paper once dry. In any case, you should clean the surface again and let it dry before proceeding to paint.

*It is essential to clean thoroughly, with degreaser if necessary, and dry the surface before applying the product.

Just like any other aerosol, you should shake the bathtub and tile spray paint for a minute, after hearing the sound of the mixing ball that is inside. As always, we recommend trying the distance and the flow of paint on a test surface, to avoid spoiling the end result.

The next step is to apply the paint. Hold the spray in a position as vertical as possible. Three thin coats will be enough to achieve an optimal finish, making sure to cover the entire surface. Remember that it is always preferable to apply several thin layers than one thick one.

When you finish using the spray, we recommend that you clean the nozzle by spraying with the can upside-down until only gas comes out. This will prevent the nozzle from clogging and having to change it for a new one.

The result is recoatable with any other paint spray, such as MTN Color Paint, after 24 hours. The bathtub can be used normally after 72 hours.
