ReturnBack to school
Looking for the best art supplies handy when you go back to school?
Throughout the confinement that we went through this past spring, emphasis shifted to the importance of art and visual education — it became unusually relevant in those times, and creativity emerged in every home. Creativity is key if we want children to be independent in their way of thinking and if we want to form children who can properly assimilate the situations they live in, who know how to reason, who are sensitive to the environment, and who want to explore the world around them.
Now, despite the uncertainty of how the school year ahead will progress, whether it’s in person or from home, the experience gained warns us how important it is to have the best tools on hand to unleash creativity, to thus face the new school year in good condition, and that is exactly what Montana Colors offers!
From pens, markers, inks and paint, to notebooks and protective gear, there are many Montana Colors product lines that are essential for back to school, but today we want to highlight two of them in particular: Graphic Markers and Technical Markers. There are few things in life are more satisfying than a good marker gliding across paper:
▪ Graphic Marker double felt tip pens (beveled tip for filling or writing and a fine point for drawing). Thanks to their translucent alcohol-based ink, the colors can be easily mixed together. Available in 36 colors along with a Blender marker, they are ideal for young and old artists alike for drawing or coloring. The best, most organized and affordable way to get our markers is in packs, and the MTN 94 Graphic Markers are no exception. There are 3 options that the markers are grouped into, in sets of 12 shades: 12 solid colors, 12 pastels or 12 grays. There is also the option of purchasing 24 colors, combining either: solid and gray or solid and pastel. The 36 solid color pack includes black and the Blender marker.
On the other hand we have the Technical Markers, a line of high opacity ink markers with a variety of characteristics that are specially designed for drawing. Especially useful for outlining, drawing or writing, they’re the perfect accessory and an ideal tool for technical and precise tasks. They come in a variety of tip formats with different thicknesses that are listed below:
▪ The Technical FINELINER Markers in 0.1; 0.3; 0.5; 0.7 mm, are technical water-based ink pens with an intense black color. The fluidity provided by their chrome tubular nibs and highly pigmented ink make them the perfect technical markers for outlining, drawing or writing. They do not contain lead or aromatic solvents. Also available — in 1.0mm nib only — silver, gold and high pigment black pigment ink (Silverkiller).
▪ The BRUSH Technical Marker, a highly pigmented black ink marker, specially designed to work perfectly even over silver or gold inks and paints. Its brush tip allows you to adjust the thickness of the line, being able to fluctuate between 1 and 3 mm. An indispensable tool that also does not contain lead or aromatic solvents.
▪ The CALLIGRAPHY Technical Marker, a highly pigmented black ink marker, is specially designed to work perfectly even over silver or gold inks and paints. Its 1mm thick by 3mm wide nib makes it easy to do calligraphy lettering. Similarly, it does not contain lead or aromatic solvents.
The variety of the Graphic Markers’ color range, alongside the versatility for contouring, drawing or writing that the Technical Markers offer is a winning combo. A duo of essential tools to ring in the new school year with a bold and colorful start. Art supplies that complement each other and form the base for creativity and ingenuity, both of which are fundamental to a child’s comprehensive development.
