Since 2010, the 447 series trains in Catalonia began
sporting a design distinct from those in the rest of Spain.
The signature orange color and the iconic “R” logo was
also applied to the Civia and 451 models, becoming
the defining aesthetic for Renfe’s train cars across the
Barcelona network, and, by extension, all of Catalonia.
