ReturnWallspot Madrid: The experiment comes to an and
After two months of managing legal walls in Madrid, Wallspot has concluded its campaign in style with a massive mobilization of urban artists.
The Wallspot pilot in Madrid came to a close on January 23 and 24 with extremely positive results, considering the number of participants and the sheer amount of times the walls were painted. Rebobinart got the green light from the Moratalaz and Puente de Vallecas town hall to run a pilot project, establishing the first two legal walls in the city in November 2020.
Since then, the two spots have been painted on numerous occasions. To celebrate the venture, we present a video of the pieces that served as a farewell and closing of the project, showing work by many of the 56 writers and street artists who took part in the two productions painted simultaneously on January 23 and 24.
