Return CAN YOU RENOVATE A KITCHEN USING ONLY SPRAY PAINTS?
Renovating a kitchen is often associated with construction work, dust, and a significant budget. But what if you could completely transform its appearance in just a weekend, without replacing tiles or cabinets? In this project, we'll show you how to turn an outdated kitchen into a more modern space using only three spray products.
Alongside the bathroom, the kitchen is one of the most heavily used areas in the home. Daily use, constant exposure to water, grease, and sudden temperature changes caused by cooking all contribute to wear and tear. Perhaps that is why it is also one of the areas of the house where design trends tend to evolve the fastest.
Within the WEPRO range, there are several products that can help you give your kitchen a fresh new look with minimal effort. Without a doubt, the most important and specialized product for this type of project is WEPRO Tiles & Furniture Paint.

What makes this paint special?
- Designed for use on non-porous surfaces such as tiles.
- No primer required.
- Provides a finish very similar to ceramic.
- Resistant to moisture and everyday cleaning.
Steps to follow
- Protect all areas that are not going to be painted, including cabinets, countertops and flooring.
- Shake WEPRO Tiles & Furniture Paint vigorously for one minute after hearing the mixing ball rattle.
- Spray onto a test surface to check the paint flow.
- Apply the product to the tiles from a distance of approximately 15 cm, using quick passes and thin coats.
- As this is white paint, apply a minimum of three coats, preferably in different directions and without allowing the product to build up
- Allow to dry for at least one hour before removing any protective coverings.
- Avoid contact with the painted surface for the next 24 hours.
- Painting the cabinets...

We could have painted the cabinets using the same product, but since this project required a colour that was not available within the WEPRO Tiles & Furniture Paint range, we chose WEPRO Water-Based Paint, specifically in the Capoeira Green shade.
To ensure optimal paint adhesion on the cabinet doors, we first applied WEPRO Multi-Surface Primer.
The steps are practically the same as in the previous process:
Applying the primer
- Protect any areas or surfaces that you do not want to paint or stain.
- Shake WEPRO Multi-Surface Primer vigorously for one minute after hearing the mixing ball rattle.
- Spray onto a test surface to check the product flow.
- Apply an even coat. As it is a primer, there is no need for a thick application.
- Allow the primer to dry for at least 30 minutes, but no longer than 2 hours.

Applying the paint
- Shake WEPRO Water-Based Paint vigorously for one minute after hearing the mixing ball rattle.
- Spray onto a test surface to check the paint flow.
- Apply thin, even coats to the surface being painted.
- Thanks to its high opacity, two coats are usually enough to achieve an optimal finish.
- Allow to dry for at least one hour before handling the painted items. For maximum durability, it is recommended to wait 24 hours before putting them back into regular use.
